Author BiographyJennifer Forest has pursed her love of history in a number of ways. She has completed a Bachelor of Arts (History), a Graduate Diploma in Education and a Graduate Diploma in Cultural Heritage Management. She is unashamedly passionate about 18th to 20th century British, European and colonial history (NZ and Canada in particular). Her personal study of history started out with wars and revolutions of all kinds but now also fortunately includes textiles and design. Jennifer has worked in the education and curatorial areas in museums, government policy and government programs. She has also taught people from 8 to 60 years in a range of environments. In her spare time she pursues her interest in the textile arts. Jennifer works with a wide variety of media including needlework, felting, sewing and screen printing. She currently runs an online business, called Confident Crafts, providing craft DVDs designed for how adults learn. Jennifer is also writing her second Regency book due for release in June 2011.
